HAQM Business launches Integrated Quoting feature

Now customers can request HAQM Business bulk-buy bids, along with bids from other suppliers, from the Fairmarkit e-sourcing website. HAQM Business’ new Integrated Quoting feature can connect to e-sourcing and e-procurement systems, allowing mutual customers to centralize their Request for Quote activity and select the most competitive bid for their business buying needs.

Integrated Quoting can help business buyers save time and money and increase spend visibility. Eligible bid requests for HAQM Business must be for more than 1000 units of a product or more than rack-rate $10,000 inventory. If HAQM Business’ bid is selected by a customer, HAQM Business delivers their order in alignment with their Need By date.

Here’s how the buyer moves through the RFQ process within the Fairmarkit environment:

1. Buyer creates RFQs (Request for Quote) for one or multiple products from suppliers listed in the Fairmarkit environment.
2. The request is deployed to suppliers.
3. Suppliers send a bid to the buyer within the Fairmarkit environment.
4. Buyer reviews bids and makes a selection.
5. Buyer initiates purchase order with supplier for fulfillment.

“This new Integrated Quoting feature with Fairmarkit allows HAQM Business to continue meeting integrated customers where they are, simplifying their business buying experiences,” Satya Mishra, HAQM Business’ Director of Product Management, said. “Bulk buying can offer cost savings to customers, and centralizing supplier quotes in integrated systems offers efficiency and scale.”

Buyers can also request quotes directly from the HAQM Business website.
