How to request for quote

Step 1

On a product detail page, click the "Request quote for [quantity]+" link above the "Add to Cart" button in the buybox.

Step 2

To view your quote status, hover over "Hello, [Name]" in the top right corner and click "Manage Quotes" under the "Your Account" heading. This will lead to your Quotes dashboard.

Step 3

Fill out your quote specifications, including purchase/delivery dates, zip code, quantity, and target pricing. Click the orange "Request quote" button to complete your quote request.

Step 4

Within your Quotes dashboard, click "View request" to evaluate supplier offers. Select an offer, proceed to checkout, and complete your order.

  • The minimum threshold for requesting a quote is either more than 999 units, or orders valued at more than $10,000. Book orders are an exception with a threshold of at least 100 units or orders over $1,000.

  • Sellers typically respond within 1-2 business days with their quotes. Once received, the quoted prices are locked in for a minimum of 7 days, though sellers can set their own quote expiration date. You'll receive email notifications when sellers respond to your quote requests.

  • Yes, you can request quotes for multiple items in a single request through the Manage Quotes dashboard. To add additional items: (1) Go to the Add Items tab at the top of the quote request form, (2) Search by ASIN number, HAQM URL, keyword, supplier & SKU, or manufacturer part number, (3) Enter quantities for each item, (4) Submit one quote request with all of your items.

  • After you submit a quote request, you can expect the following: (1) You'll receive an immediate acknowledgment of the quote request submission, (2) Sellers will review and respond with customized offers within 1-2 business days, (3) You'll get email notifications when sellers respond, (4) Review offers on the Manage Quotes dashboard, (5) Select Review and Purchase on your chosen quote to proceed with ordering, (6) Confirm shipping and payment details before finalizing the purchase.

  • You can go to the Manage Quotes dashboard to access information about the seller, including contact information. From there, you can: (1) Review multiple seller offers for comparison, (2) Submit new quote requests with revised quantities, (3) Communicate directly with sellers through the platform, (4) Set preferred suppliers for future quote requests, (5) Review seller ratings and performance metrics before accepting quotes.

  • While you can't edit a submitted quote request directly, you can: (1) Cancel existing quote requests by contacting customer service, (2) Create a new quote request with revised quantities, (3) Save draft quotes before you submit, (4) Track pending and completed quote requests in the Manage Quotes dashboard, (5) Set up recurring bulk orders once you find a preferred quote.
